Who We Are

We understand choosing a hearing care provider is a big decision. At Holden Hearing Aid, our number one priority is delivering exceptional patient care. Our staff is well-trained on a variety of services ranging from evaluations to treatment.

We believe great care includes establishing great relationships with our patients. Treating hearing loss is an ongoing process that requires regular follow-ups, maintenance and cleanings to keep you hearing your best. Our staff is here to support you not only during your initial visit but throughout your entire journey to better hearing.

Matthew

Dr. Matthew Moreno

Audiologist

Dr. Moreno has been an audiologist since 1999 and earned his Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida, Master of Arts degree from the University of Buffalo, and Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY Geneseo. He is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in audiology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, member of the American Speech, Language, Hearing Association and a fellow member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. Dr. Moreno started his career as an audiologist at a large non-profit speech and hearing clinic in Rochester, NY. He then worked at a 8-physician Ear, Nose & Throat clinic in Raleigh, NC and most recently at a private practice audiology office in Boston, MA. Dr. Moreno developed a compassion for those with hearing impairment while being raised in the same house with his great-grandparents which was further strengthened while volunteering at a summer camp for Deaf children during his high school and college years. He currently resides in Rutland, MA with his wife and 4 children.

Meagan Perro

Audiology Assistant

Meagan Perro began working at Holden Hearing Aid Center in June, 2022 and is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as an audiology assistant. She graduated from Worcester State University in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish for the Professions. She received the Worcester State Academic Achievement Award for receiving the highest GPA in both of her majors. She is continuing her education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she will obtain her Doctor of Audiology in 2026. Meagan is passionate about hearing health care and is enjoying working under Dr. Moreno to further her education. Outside of work, Meagan enjoys doing yoga, traveling to her family’s Cape Cod house, and volunteering at Camp Sunshine in Casco, Maine. She currently lives in Worcester, MA with a roommate and their two cats.

Michelle Biron

Office Manager

Michelle joined Holden Hearing Aid Center in early 2019 as the Office Manager. With over 15 years of experience in both the private and the public sector, Michelle enjoys the challenges and rewards that come with the daily operations of an office. Her educational background in business management combined with her love for public service make her an enthusiastic part of Holden Hearing Aid Center’s team. You will find her to be friendly and courteous and eager to help with any questions or provide any guidance you may need. 

When Michelle is not at work she enjoys volunteering in her community with various organizations, trips to her family camp in Vermont, long days sitting on the beach and nature photography. Michelle resides in Barre with her two cats Minnie and Mufasa.
